... Unfortunately it sounds like you do have LPR. LPR and GERD are similiar and brought about by some of the same issues, but are seperate diseases in themselves. GERD causes stomach problems that can be very intense and that can travel into the chest area, the back, and even the jaw bone region. ... It sounds like reflux. That's what all of us on here are dealing with. I can tell when I am eating things that cause my acid reflux. I get a post nasal drip thing going with thick mucus. Yuck!
