... LPR affects your vocal cord, I was told by my ENT that larynx are very sensitive, and LPR causes them to be inflamed, so I guess the more you talk your are using your larynx more, so talking less, will give the larynx a rest.
I have read that chewing gum helps LPR, due to increase in salive. Also drinking water, and trying to keep your throat moist.
