... Hello, first post to the board, long time lurker. I've been diagnosed with GERD and take omeprazole which seems to handle it okay. The last couple of days the GERD has been acting up and I've been periodically having what feel like spasms or irregular heartbeats(i don't know what either feels like). Can someone describe what an esophageal spasm feels like (24 replies)
