... Well, the doc took me off Accutane shortly after my last post...but my skin has remained fairly good since. I have so many more wrinkles at 51 that it is a bit depressing, but I don't know that Accutane contributed, especially because I didn't go out in the sun all that summer. ... (21 replies)

... So new doctor suggested accutane ( generic) for the 1-3 large pimples I get per month. Yes, I've been on antibiotics for years and topical creams. My concern is my AGE 44 and causing dramatic facial wrinkles and vaginal dryness that could possibly last a life time :-( some other sites women were saying that sex hurt a year after and they could never get wet again. THAT IS THE... (21 replies)

... OMG!! I can sure relate to you. I went on Accutane about 20 years ago. I am 44, and can't believe I'm getting this acne. I am on Spiro, only 25 mgs. I am going to ask my GYN if we can increase. ... (26 replies)
... Day/Pill #5 40mg Claravis (I apologize in advance for the length of today's post). I may be feeling dry lips coming on. I'm not sure if it's because I've had a cold for about 10 days, and a couple of times I've taken Dayquil, or I'm beginning to feel the initial stuff. I'm sure I'll know soon. Also, I woke up with a small (but painful) whitehead on my jawline. In my... (26 replies)

... Good Luck, you sound like you have menopausal acne. I know, I have it too. I have tried all sorts of things, never accutane, I get my best results from Retin-A. (4 replies)
... Accutane today at my dermatologist appt. I have cystic acne but only on my chin. It is persistent and responds to virtually nothing. I used Accutane about 15 years ago with excellent results. Now, it's time again. Who would have thought that this late in life I would need this. ... (4 replies)
... My son was on acutane twice and like your son, it was the only thing that helped. His skin became very dry so you might want to tell your son to put some type of moisturized on his skin at night before going to bed. Your son may even end up with some scarring if he has been dealing with acne for a long period of time. I suggest using Bio Oil which has been used in England... (8 replies)
... Hello, I would suggest that you do the following in order to obtain beautiful healthy glowing skin: 1. Book in for a session of Colonic Hydrotherapy. It is no as bad as it sounds and you will not only feel cleaner, but might drop some weight. I had my very first one done last week and my eyes are clear for the first time ever and my skin looks fresh. 2. Make sure you... (4 replies)
... but they look like wrinkles and I am way too young for that...Anyway he said that I could use it for acne too. What is a good moisturizer to use with all of this stuff? ... (15 replies)
... Hi everyone... Well, if you don't know my story, I'm 25, female, and have mild-moderate acne. I've tried it all. My last effort has been using retin-a nightly for the past 14 months, along with doxycycline and generic ortho tri-cyclen. My acne definitely improved (for awhile, I was almost completely clear), but the past couple months my skin has gone downhill fast... (4 replies)

... Do it! $100 is an amazing price! I paid $600 per session! It definately appeared to help but I didn't stick with it long enough to get completely clear. Also, my skin fluctuates between mild and moderate acne so much that it is hard to say if the Smoothbeam actually was doing anything. I have heard, however, that Smoothbeam can be a great compliment to another plan of action... (8 replies)
... le my age who drink, do drugs, and smoke and don't seem to experience any "ill side effects"...but I assure you 5...10...20 years down the line it will kick in.
