So the adrenals themselves are ok, but the pituitary is not producing sufficient ACTH to stimulate the adrenals adequately, hence the low cortisol. I have been in hospital a few days and just got home.
I did not like that test. I felt great halfway though it but pooww.. I felt bad (sick) and it felt like it took forever. I gotta say Im glad its over. But I would do it again and again if it could help. How did you feel about it?

My ACTH test results were normal - no indication of adrenal insufficiency. My base level of cortisol was 11 and my 1 hr level was 33. My 2 hr level was 36.
