Many people with Addison's get their illness well controled with the right mixture and dosing of the cortisone and mineralcorticoid (Fluorinef) if they need it. ... May i recommend Siberian Ginseng, it helps repair/restore ur adrenal glands; 3,000 mg max dose b4 bed knocks u out and u sleep deeply & wake rested. ... Not sure about sugar, but I do know that one's adrenals produce a hormone called aldosterone which can be low in addison's and adrenal fatigue. Aldosterone is the hormone that regulates sodium retention. ... (3 replies)
