... Hi, my family has the same problem, we get contact dermitits from the adhesive that is used in most bangages, I found that if we need a bandage for a period of time I make them out of paper tape and gauze, hope this helps (5 replies)

... Yup yup i'm very allergic 2 bandaids, medical tape, second skin, newskin, anything that has that adhesive in it. I require more medication than I can get OTC for it but usually Cutivate or Psorcon does the trick, along with an antihistamine. I do take Clarinex daily but I add Benadryl at nite if the itching is bad enough not 2 let me sleep. It's funny how you'll literally... (3 replies)

Bandaid allergy?

... u all. For the last 4 to 5 years I've had an allergy to Latex. That mean things like rubberbands, bandaids, etc. So when I do have a reaction to Latex I get like rash on my arm. I need to bandage it up good. So if you do know someone please keep these things away from them! ... (3 replies)
