... I LOVE Levaquin. It is very effective against sinusitis. However, if you had a previous reaction to Cipro you need to call the doctor's office and tell the nurse and ask for a different antibiotic. I do not have any side effects when I take it. ... (6 replies)

... I totally disagree. Antibiotics do work for sinus infections. I had a primary doctor who refused to give me antibiotics once. The infection worsened and when I was finally given Augmentin, I had to take it for 3 weeks. The Augmentin started working in less than 48 hours. ... (11 replies)
