... I totally agree pam. Don't ever change a medication or diagnose a problem without checking with your doctor and/or pharmacist. Each case is different. We did take mom off the Aricept and Namenda but it was on the recommendation of her psychiatrist who is much better able to assess her situation than I am :) Thanks for pointing that out specifically. ... i too can relate to all that is said on these threads, only in the uk you do not get medication for dimentia they just tell you it is a brain cell dying it is what happens in life, i wish i had found this site when i had my mum there is so much suport on it, i have 2 brothers 1 of them visited my mum every 3-4 weeks he lived 15 mins from the nursing home and the other 1 is an...
