... I haven't been diagnosed w/ anemia but my dr. is doing a bunch of tests to check iron and B vitamin deficiencies. I've had lots of odd symptoms over the past months including eye problems (very red and blurry), rashes that come and go (like tiny reddish/purple pin pricks), trembling in my hands, and a change in the colour of my gums (they look really dark red about 1 cm below... ... d whether i had always had such large eyes. I thought he was referring to my actually eyes as i did have large eyes, but he was referring to the outer and inner eye area. Apparently the eye area can swell and eyes can even look as though they are protruding outwards, rather than just sitting within the socket. ... (10 replies)
... Hello! I'm struggling with very similar issues right now. Have you been tested for diabetes? Both gastroparesis and neuropathy can be the results of uncontrolled diabetes, and so can those feelings of brain fogginess and dizziness. You might also want to be checked for autoimmune disease. Your doctor can order an ANA test which shows if you have antibodies against your own... (8 replies)
