... Well, I am not sure about your symptoms. With me, I have low iron, I get dizzy, I get short of breath when walking too much. I do get headaches, but I am not sure that has anything to do with the anemia. Good luck, I hope you are OK... (4 replies)

He said I didn't need it, and he was sure I was fine, but he said he would do the test anyway. Guess what? It came back that I... (1 replies)

... I haven't exactly confirmed a link between low iron and my headaches, but I had a headache in july that would not go away. Neuro confirmed it was NOT a migraine or tension headache. No amount of otc or prescription headache meds helped. It was awful. I also got gnarly vertigo with it. I started upping my supplement dosage and it seemed to subside after a week and a half. I... ... Ugh, I feel for you! Its so disheartening when they keep finding nothing...and especially when they do find something, like your possible low iron and tell you its not that. ... Your numbers are off!! I can't believe your doc thinks this is acceptable. something is going on! The MCV, MCH, MCHC, and RDW (geesh, 17 is way high!) are all indicative of your body struggling to make red blood cells. They are not healthy ones according to these numbers (now I am not a doc, but I am struggling with low iron and have researched quite a bit about all these lab... (1 replies)
