... I never used to have bad acne. Now I cannot control it no matter what I do. I get big, deep, painful pimples all on my cheeks and some smaller on the sides of my chin. They're not in clusters they just pop up in random spots, in the same general area. It's so embarrassing! My dad's is 100 (and according to the doctor it should be 133). I don't know if my mom also should have 133 or if the target number is different for women. ... The one that I take is called Silica plus from Kal. It has 37.8 mg of Silica. I never noticed any side effects from it. I also take a B-complex since I read that Horsetail Silica can deplete B-1. ... you may be taking to much iron. What does your doctor say? I would think your doctor would lower your iron. You can get to much iron and it will cause your problems with your liver, heart, pancreas, skin, joints, and overies for woman, and testes for males, so if I were you I would ask my doctor to lower the iron I was taking. or at least find out why he hasn't done...
