... ecover. You can't just get to some magic number, because it's different for everyone. You have to manage to the symptoms. I get frustrated with drs, too, because B12 is such a simple treatment! It's not like you're begging for antibiotics constantly to cure something. It can't hurt you, it can only help you. ... (3 replies)

I am taking sublingual B12 myself as my number was 324 (211-911) and as much as I try to insist that this must be contributing to my symptoms, my doctor this week again has said that the number looks good! ... I disagree with your doctor. People's iron levels have dropped quickly after surgery and were anemic in just a few months. That's why it's so important to supplement and check labs regularly. Also 30 is NOT normal for vitamin D for us. Optimal levels are 80. You can try the prescription, but it's D2 and oil based. We malabsorb oil, therefore we malabsorb D2. And even D3 in... (4 replies)
