... sawittwice--It's not too hard if you don't mind needles. You may need to practice. I used to practice on an orange when I had to give my dh IM injections. You may want another person to do this for you too as an alternative option. It's not hard to learn to give your own shots. Your doctor or pharmacist should be able to advise you. Good luck. ... It could very well be B-12 or something else all together. I would first build the B-12 within a high range and see if the symptoms go away after a while. When you get more than one thing going on at time it's hard to tell. Neuro symptoms are associated with a low B-12. Sounds like your doc has a good dose of B-12 shots for you, that's good. ... i have b shots every two weeks, in the arms tho, and even tho my insurance pays only for one bshot a month i dont mind dishing out the extra money for the other inbetween shot myself since i have felt a huge difference after about a month on them. i never did feel the initial warm rush of energy right away that others have felt tho, so dont know what they were getting on top...
