... This has nothing to do with my stomach-but I got a message from my primary yesterday. Almost as if she were smearing it in my face she said-"I got the results of your MRI and it sure looks good to me!" She wasn't even the one who ordered it. That's actually good new to me-it means the shingles is causing all the pain. The only problem is my Neurologist ordered it with contrast... (10 replies)

... Well, believe it or not, I found a doctor who is going to run some test. My doctor referred me to a neurologist for the shingles. He sat down with me and kept asking questions until he got everything out of me. I told him how happy I was to have a doctor who probed for answers. I don't know what they are looking for. So, when I sit down I think they only want to know what they... (10 replies)
... The milk issue could very well be related to lactose intolerance. That is when you body can't digest the natural sugars in the lactose and it's actually linked to inability to digest carbohydrates. You can buy lactose free milks and yogurts and they taste great, you wouldn't even notice you weren't having the ordinary milk. Also one in four people apparently suffer from... (10 replies)
... mysixpack--I would see a GI doc and have them listen to your symptoms especially since anemia is involved and low ferritin. They can check you for Celiac disease which could cause some of your symptoms. Did you have your B-12 and folate checked too? They can rule out IBS as a problem and a few other things like PA which can cause a B-12 deficiency and iron. Your symptoms... (10 replies)
