Its kinda hard to explain but im wonderin if there are others like me, im not sure how it all started but i get nervous in class, and when i get nervous my stomach gets upset, then i get diarhea and panic. and so now when i goto class i get nervous that im going to get sick and have no way out. ... ... You sound like you have anxiety. It can manifest itself in a number of ways--specifically in a nervous stomach. Have you seen a doctor for this? You should. There's tons of medications for anxiety/nervousness that can be taken "as needed." You sound like a candidate. Try to fixate on the "fun" of the situation, rather than the "what if's." Only other thing i have thought of would be xanax to hold of the nervousness that would hopefully hold off an attack but I am scared to death to take it so im at a loss also, lets see if we get any ideas from other posters... ... Lish, You have agorophobia, your are not totally housebound, but you avoid going places far from safety for fear of attacks, even a mere thought of having to go somewhere, will start the upset stomach, nervousness, anxiety, etc. Ativan that you were on, seriously, is the best to help overcome this, if you take it about 10-15 mins before you must leave.
