I've been having joint pain for the last 3 months. It started in my hips, that went away and reappeared in my elbows, then reappeared in my shoulders and now is in my knees consistently and elbows sometimes as well as in my big toe and sometimes fingers. I am 25 years old. The pain feels deep in my joint and can be sensitive to the touch if i massage around the joint. My knees pop and crack when I walk and It is painful especially if I turn. It started when I was doing crossfit. I quit crossfit, but for my job I walk about 10 - 12 miles a day. I was on gabapentin
For anxiety for a couple of years and got off of it about a month before all this started. My joints seem to hurt all day but are worse in the morning, when lifting weights or when it's cold out. I've been swimming and hottubbing in the mornings at the gym but it hasn't helped too much. I've been taking glucosamine, chronditin msm and naproxen which helps somewhat. Does this sound like Arthritis and what can I do to help? I am getting an appointment to be a new patient at a doctors office in a couple of days.

Yes, your symptoms sound like arthritis and at your age, rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus would be two major conditions to consider and be tested for. I would ask specifically about that if your Dr does not mention testing you for those. I hope you get answers soon and have a good experience with discussion with your Dr.
