Re: Breathing
Jul 28, 2009
Yes the pain in my chest hurts more at night as well. I have been to Emergency twice in an ambulance only to find out its the arthritis. It is on the right hand side of my sternum and it causes the pain when moving and lying down. What kind of arthritis do you have? I have Psoriatic Arthritis, in toes, ankles, knees, hip, chest, elbows, wrists and fingers. Have you seen a Rheumatologist? What other drugs have been diagnosed?

Glad l seent this! To cut along story short been experiencing joint and muscle pain for years, finally got to see a rheumy had a bone scan and rhe only thing that showed was early wear and tear to both shoulders.. l see the rheumy in a few weeks. Bloods all came back fine. However l get a hell of alot of rib and sternum pain and collarbone area too amd sometimes l feel like my ribs are not expanding enough to let me breath propally. I have told my doc about this and this si why l was also giving arthrotec 50 to take along with lansoprazole. I have not tried it yet as l only want to take it when lm really bad... hate meds :( What also surprised me is l get horrendous lower back pain sacrilum joint pain and bad stiffness l cant believe after suffering for years nothing showed up on the bone scan! I was so certain when they got in touch they would 100% say sternum ribs and sacrilum was showing damage! )The shoulder thing is pretty new to me pain wise just a few months maybe a little bit longer but now more frequent. Really interests me this thread x
