37 y.o. female.
I'm having stiffnes in PIP joints of my fingers. Any type of movement that seems to put "torque" on my finger joints causes mild to mod pain: like twisting a lid off a jar, drying my hands. The PIP joints are looking "fat", more so in the joint with the most pain. I admit, the pain isn't that bad, but this joint looks weird to me - see pic. Also, when I get out of bed in the morning, I have to shuffle because my feet and ankles are stiff and painful, but that goes away once I'm up and about.
Past history: pleurisy in 8th grade. Also at about same age, spontaneous swelling of right ankle with no injury, stiff since then.
Thanks in advance!
