... Welcome, and you are certainly deserving of help with this. First of all, wear and tear type arthritis doesn't cause fever, or hot joints. Swelling is minimal. You are definitely describing flares in your RA, and the Methotrexate dose you are on is quite low for RA. ... (5 replies)
