... Redbird, from what I can make out here, you are 19 days post surgery? correct me please if I am wrong. You should not be applying any pressure to your thumb, nor index finger until your splint finally comes off. You can however move the tip of your thumb, backward & forward. It is normal to feel pain, sensitivity, itching & even burning, down the outside of your thumb.... (13 replies)
