... Sounds like we are having a very similar problem. I am taking 1400 mg gabapentin for a pain in my left buttock when I sit. The med helps, but when I am at home (a lot) since I had to retire I sit on a cold pack. I have two packs in the fridge and am sitting on 1 all of the time.

I think your doctor is right. We are sero negative and we have a lot of different symptoms for a lot of things but we just don't fit because of the blood work.
