... I've been on methx for 4 years...had some nausea at first but that wore off after a few months. Major problem now is that I can only drink a very, very little bit of alcohol. I had too much to drink once - ONCE - and I found out why they don't recommend you do that. I was sick for days. I did find, though, that I had to take the Pill because it made hormonal unpleasantness... (8 replies)

... Dear Maddie, I was on Meth for 9 month; it did not help my conditions, but it made me very-very sick. This medication is a mild form of chemo-therapy. Many people suggest they are doing well on it. Personally I would rather be on Meth than on biological treatments I am now. See how you are doing and go from there. When you have RA or Lupus, you really have not that many... (8 replies)

... If you are nervous about the drugs, take a look around this thread and you'll find lots of info about both. I was on the same combination for about 5 years and it was great. Both drugs have long track records of success so don't be scared. They are well tested and usually don't have many side effects. If the MTX(methotrexate)starts to bother your stomach, it can be injected... (8 replies)

... Hey Moldova, As far as my severe kidney infection I think I had been battling it for awhile but not bad enough to make me go to the doctor.
