... Hhhmm, is it a cortisone shot? I had cortisone shots in my knees several times, but dont know what kind it was. My insurance paid a portion, I think. I have terrible insurance, so I'm sure they didnt pay it all. I have such a huge tab with them, I stopped breaking it down. Anyway, yes, it was the only thing that helped at that time. (10 replies)

... I have to agree--"Thumbs up for Synvisc". I had my second shot yesterday (Wednesday) and my knee feels much better. I can cross my legs now and sit in several different positions without any pain. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is going to continue working.

The relief was very gradual, even noticed some mild improvement after the first shot. Just take it easy, don't push yourself - I didn't. It was just one person's experience. grimacing with pain from my knee's.
Well, then I lived in the North West which is famous for damp, and wet weather which gives young people arthritis at a young age. But....heck.
