Unfortunately, with asthma, if you have persistent asthma, it is much like diabetes. you can NOT take your "long acting" medication on a daily basis, but you will end up needing many many more doses of your short acting medication, and you will end up much sicker much more frequently than you would if you just took your long acting medications.

... A lot of albuteral will give you the shakes. There are several other neb solutions, so you may want to check with your doc. Symbacort as well as Xopenex neb do the same thing to me. I"m currently using Brovana and it doesn't affect me that way.
