... Yes, there is such a thing as Cronic Croup. My oldest son has it, and has had it for many years. (He is 12.) He was born with birth defects that affect his skull and midface, and also has a narrow airway. When he has an episode, his throat will completely close w/o proper medication. ... Thank you for replying. I have been using her nebulizer every 6 hours. It is always hard to tell if she is having trouble breathing because she has a kinda "sunkin in" chest(just under your ribs) and it makes her appear to be retracting(is that correct?) when sometimes she isn't but when it is is really strange looking. She is ILL but the cough is a little calmer... (3 replies)
