... king it could also be related to the reflux, the dr agreed. As a test before I went to the dr, when she started her coughing fit last night, instead of doing the albuterol neb, I gave her a tums, almost instantaniously, she stopped coughing. ... (5 replies)
... still did no test, no xray, nothing. He put her on albuterol, prednizone for a week, and flovent. It seemed to work at first, but after a few more illnesses, the albuterol didn't seem to make any difference anymore as a rescue. ... (5 replies)
... really figure out triggers for her, she just coughs a lot and is very prone to URI's, Pneumonia and bronchitis infections. Has anyone else been diagnosed as an infant or has a child who was diagnosed as an infant who can give me any insight as to her future? ... (10 replies)
... Hello! New to the board but thrilled to have found it. I hope you can point me in the right direction here. First, some background- my son is almost 6 mos old, and since January he has had a chronic cough & congestion. Coughing is sometimes to the point of vomiting several times a night (not a reflux vomit- but induced by the coughing fits). He is exclusively breastfed, and... (11 replies)
