Could someone please translate this into layman's terms.
L1-L2: Disc desiccation with the right foraminal bulge. Only a mild right Neural foraminal narrowing. Left neural and central canal are adequately patient. Conus ends here.
L2-L3: Disc desiccation with annular fissure and circumferential disc osteophyte complex. Mild broad based bulge. Mild bilateral neuroforaminal narrowing. The canal is adequately patent.
L3-L4: Disc desiccation with annular tear and a right lateral recess bulge. This causes a severe effacement of the right lateral recess. Mild left. There is a moderate effacement of the central canal. The neural foraminifera are mild to moderately narrowed bilaterally.
L4-L5: This level is fused. The residual disc ostephyte complex. No residual facet changes. No significant nerve root enhancement is seen however. There is effacement of the right lateral recess greater then the left. The center canal is patent.
L5-S1: Disc desiccation with mild circumferential disc osteophyte complex. This causes mild bilateral lateral recess effacement and neuroforaminal narrowing.
