 Hello,

could some one please help me understand these results. My symptoms are burning all over my head and my whole head going numb when I have been in bed for about an hour. As soon as I get up the burning starts to go away and is gone in a minute or two.

Reveals some mild straightening of the normal cervical lordosis. There is loss of normal signal intensity form the cervical intervertebral disc proper of mild degenerative disc disease. Mild spondylitic bulging disc at the C5-6 and T1-2 levels. I do not confirm lateralizing disc herniations to be present. There is mild narrowing of the intervertebral foramen on the right at C5-6, secondary to uncovertebral degenerative change. Similar changes are identified at C6-7 on the right. The cervical spinal cord does not demonstrate spinal cord compression or cord widening to be present. The craniocervical junction is unremarkable; in particular, no cerebellar tonsillar ectopia is identified. Mild osteopenia is noted. Impression: 1. Mild cervical deg. disc disease without lateralizing disc herniations. 2. Mild deg. changes resulting in narrowing of the intervertebral foramen on the right at C5-6 and C6-7. 3. Osteopenia

Could this be causing my pain? I am scheduled to see a neurologist on May 10. Just wondered if this made sense to anyone. Thank you.
