... Sorry for your pain, but honestly 8 month after surgey i still was in a severe pain - 8 weeks is still a very early stage of your recovery... Dr-s say when you after magor surgery like this and you in a lot of pain - don't hesitate to take as many PK as you need since severe pain can prevent body from healing... ... HI, Welcome!!! So glad to hear your doing better than before surgery, thats a very good sign. I think it's pretty normal at 6 wks post op. But I would mention it to my doc next time you talk to the office. Unless it's major swelling or has pain or discoloring to the skin. I don't know where you are from but...we have CVS pharmacy's here and you can buy grabbers there or walmart and you can also rent stuff like a walker from some pharmacys and walmart sells it all for cheap. After my fusion, I definitley used the walker for a few weeks around the house just to keep a seperation from my dogs mostly so I could have made it without that. I... (20 replies)
