... Hi mikelite, Im sorry that the footdrop/ nerve damage is still remaining. You probably said before but are you taking lyrica, neurontin, cymbalta etc to try to help with this? Im sorry i cant remember, did the artificial disc help the back pain? Glad to hear from you. (8 replies)

... l, that's the million dollar question. Many surgeons will tell you that it takes nerves a very long time to heal...and that it is perfectly normal to have nerve pain after surgery.
