... The neurontin has been helping with my nerve pain at 100mg 3x/day. I did just begin taking it shortly after an epidural steroid injection..so it's hard to tell which is truly responsible for the decreased pain. Things have been improving with me in general though. That's why I haven't been on as much, I guess. ;) MZRose maybe try a dose in between the two. Neurontin... (17 replies)

... Thanks Kali. I am glad to not have any unecessary procedures, but heard good things about radiofrequency so was hopeful to have it as an option. I will look into nucleoplasty if it becomes necessary, hopefully I can avoid it. I can definately relate to not being sure who I just wrote to. Perhaps it's because of the strange hours I've been keeping lately. These meds knock... (14 replies)
... Hi Michelle: I feel for you. I would have loved doing this http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/hammer.gif to some of my docs. So Vicoden don't help you. I should be so lucky to get that. Both my pain docs were to scared to give out anything like that to me. I take my Vioxx & Zanaflex & that's all. They gave me a prescription of neurontin, but I'm not sure I want to add...
