... the sedu flat iron is the best. ... (11 replies)
... product to keep the ends staying in place and not flipping. Sometimes I mist mine with a little bit of hairspray to keep this from happening. Out of all cheaper flat irons, if I had to rebuy one, I would still buy my Remington Wet 2 Straight iron. You can use it on dry hair as well.. ... (11 replies)
... I bought the Chi for about $120 and don't regret it. Many stores offer a lifetime guarantee so it's good to get that! My mom has a Revlon one that looks JUST like the Chi, but it doesn't get hot enough at all. My brother actually damaged his hair with it (even though it's ceramic) because he said you have to go over each section over and over since it isn't hot enough. I... (11 replies)

... Sally's Beauty Salon carries a generic Chi flan iron. Have no idea of the price but when I asked the clerk if she sold many she said yes. I had already bought the SuperStar from the salon I go to which cost $155. Works as well as the Chi. I could have bought it cheaper online. I just didn't fee like waiting for it to come in the mail. ... Glad it worked out for you! I also have the thinner one and have an easier time using thinner irons through my long hair. I agree that the beeping can be annoying.. but as long as it works okay it's worth it! (11 replies)
... Ok update...I bought the remington wet to straight, the thinner one. I can say that I am happy I invested the extra 25 bucks (woopee!). I tried it out when I got home, and my hair was dry but flippy from just putting gel and letting it dry. It got in straight and smooth. It almost feels like I have really thin hair because its so smooth. Usually its thick. And I can definately... (11 replies)
... I was actually thinking of trying that one, the remington. Im really good at returning things if I dont like them, so if I dont think its any better than the one I got, I guess ill just have to start secretly saving up. I do use treseme's gel for straightening hair, and a boilage spit end sealer thats supposed to double as a mild gel, so I hope I dont need any more. I just... (11 replies)
... It Doesnt Fry Your Hair. The Cheaper Ones Fry It. And Curling Irons Are Real Bad Cause They Pull Your Hair. I Have The Sedu And I Wouldnt Buy Anything Else. Get The Silk Infusion By Chi To Put In Your Hair Before Hand. (11 replies)
... Well thank you everyone for you replies, but, I still dont know if I want to invest in the chi. I know my husband would be ok if he really knew I absolutely had to have it, and we could afford it if I really wanted it, but we dont splurge on things like that ever. I mean, I would feel guilty even if I bought a $60 dollar straightner. I do want to say again that I do not have... (11 replies)
... Yep....The chi is the best. Heats up to 356 degress in a couple of second. I actually own one. I got it on-line for only 122 dollars including tax/shipping/handling. It was a great buy. I have seen that are 255-360$ at other places......mines is used. That's why it's only 122$. Been using it for 2 years now. Anyway.......you can't go wrong with a CHI. Everyone thinks I got... ... And just a question for anyone who would recommend the chi because I know thats a favorite. Its supposed to be a good but expensive one. Like at least a hundred dollars or so. Ive been looking and saw one on **** thats pink and its called chi infusion and theres a lot that you buy it now for like 27.95 or around that price. Does that sound like a good deal because it sounds... (11 replies)
... I have straight hair but I just cut like Jessica simpson's when she first cut it shoulder length and wore it straight, also like Jennifer Annisten's shortest cut she had on friends, anyways my hair likes to flip out on one side no matter what I do, it will take ages for me to not necessarily get it to flip inward but just slightly so its not stick straight down and its driving...
