BHA Product
Jun 11, 2009
... with oil and dirt and I am having a really hard time unclogging them just by using regular facial cleansers and scrubs. It's just not working and I know that my best option would be to use a BHA product to clear out the dirt and oils that are clogging the pores. ... (0 replies)
... No. There is no such thing. Your concerns are various and they cannot all be treated with just one product. You need to see a dermatologist for the age spots and sun damage... only prescription products will take care of that (Retin-A, Differin, and other vitamin A products, and possibly AHA/BHA products as well). Oily skin is hormonal... again, vitamin A can help, but so... (7 replies)
... I would recommend 2 products. For your face, I would recommend Paula's Choice 2% Beta Hydroxy Acid Lotion. This has worked good on my face for getting rid of redmarks. It has nice incredients. 2% Salicylic Acid, Beta Hydroxy acid, Grape Seed, Green tea, Vitamin E, Almond oil, Willowherb etc. You can also try Kiss My Face Aha 4% Peaches & Cream moisturizer. This is... (7 replies)

... I'm not a big believer in using an entire line of products just because you like one or two of them. I mix & match, LOL! My favorite cleansers: Aromaleigh Lavender Mandarin cleanser & Geografx Gentle Blue cleanser (once daily) BHA products: Paula's Choice 2% BHA solution & Skin Biology's Exfol serum (I use both daily) AHA product: Makeup Artist's Choice 30% glycolic... ... You have to look at other things, too - not just makeup. What type of cleanser are you using? Do you use a toner/astringent? Any other products? If you use too many products that are made to strip oil from your face or products that are too harsh - your face is stripped of oil - then the body responds by producing more oil, so you end up even oilier. A gentle cleanser, a... (2 replies)
... also works well but the right products are hard to find... you would have to purchase them online or get them from a dermatologist. The best ones come in gel form. Facial scrubs with salicylic acid are virtually useless since you end up washing all the product down the drain before it can take effect. ... (2 replies)
... Olive oil is oil... it won't clean anything, it will just provide moisturize. Olive oil is not a miracle product and it will not tighten your skin no matter which technique you use to apply it to your face. ... (2 replies)
... are the best... and only when they're between 3 and 4 pH levels which, unfortunately, is not listed on the product bottles so you would have to test that yourself at home. ... (16 replies)
Facial Creams?

... looks super healthy, like the glow you use to see on all those women years ago. I have to say I am 30 and have a few under eye wrinkles but everytime I use a new product seems I come out with more. If you look back to women 30 years ago they had so much better skin, and they just looked yonger longer and healthier. ... (8 replies)

... The strips are really harsh - and sometimes they can injure the skin. I would recommend a BHA (salicylic acid) product. This works a lot like Differin, penetrating the pores & helping to clear them from the inside out. I like Paula's Choice 2% BHA solution (not the lotion, the solution). You should start out by using the product every other night - wiping it over your... (6 replies)

... There are a lot of good products out there. Probably one of the best dept. store STs is Clinique Dark. ... (3 replies)
... However, I will say that my skin is in better condition now than when I was younger. I went through a lot of products before I came up with the routine that is best for me. Each product has a different function, so it works well. ... (65 replies)
