when applying mascara, start at the root end of the lash and try to zigzag down the lashes while turning the mascara wand, this will make the lashes look longer and thicker and keep the lashes seprated, it takes a lot of pratice, but works well when you get used to doing it (6 replies)

... Best mascara I've ever tried for curling is Maybellines wondercurl, I also have a Mister Mascara one (can't remember what its called) which is supposed to be based on a japanese curling mascara (they have dead straight lashes)and its amazing.
Only use it for special occasions though, as its quite heavy.
