... Has anyone tried either the home chemical peels and microdermabraisen kits? ... (21 replies)
... I use both. I have a Dermanew home microdermabrasion machine that I use with Aromaleigh's microdermabrasion cream once a week. ... (21 replies)
... but basically, you do a peel once a week for 6 weeks, then nothing for 2 weeks, then peel for 6 weeks, and so on. ... (21 replies)

... glycolic peel yesterday. ... (21 replies)
... Wow - first of all it sounds like your mom's dermatologist let her get a burn. When I do a peel, my face is slightly pink for about 30 minutes afterward. Then occasionally I might have some mild flaking, which is easily removed with the microdermabrasion - but I don't even have the flaking every time. It doesn't have to flake to be working! And you face should never look red... (21 replies)
... I'm a little scared of a glycolic peel, I'm only 20 and I thought it would be bad for young skin. My mother went to have some peel done at the dermatologist and her skin was all red and burnt-like for days. I don't want anything like that. And having flakes and peeling? It scares me waaaaay too much. What I think might be happening is that my uneven skintone comes from the... (21 replies)
... glycolic peel other day. I just cant wait to get it. Does any one have any tips or suggestions for when I start using it? ... (21 replies)
... I've never tried a peel but I do use Philosophy's Microdermabrasion scrub and daily facial and love it!! Look in your search or QVC sells it too. ... (21 replies)
... Actually, it would probably help. Just read up on the glycolic peels - you want to start out slowly. Better to take 6-9 months to get results with a 30% peel than to attempt a 70% peel (at first anyway) and get a severe burn. (21 replies)
... LOL! I'll see what I can do! (21 replies)
... I'm interested in using a gylcolic peel as well. I also use Aromaleigh's microderm cream. I can't for the life of me figure out your Kansas clue to order from the same company that you do. ... (21 replies)
... making more of them. If your skin has a bumpy texture, a glycolic peel might be more helpful. ... (21 replies)
... I'm sure 10% is quite safe - you probably won't see much results though. I'd go with at least a 15% or 30%. I have very sensitive skin & I started with 30%. You do a patch test first, then if you're okay, you start out by only leaving it on for 1 minute. Then you increase by 1 minute each week. I would just buy a sample size until you see which works best. (21 replies)
... No, I haven't tried the cream. I use a ton of other products, so the glycolic acid & Exfol serum are the only AHA products on my list. (21 replies)
... Thank you belle for all the advice you have given me. I will do it 6 weeks then off 2 weeks. Belle, have you ever tried the glycolic cream? (21 replies)
... Just remember that you're only supposed to do 6-8 weeks of the peels & then take a rest from it. (21 replies)
... I use BeautiControl's Microderm Abrasion system. It consists of a cream with crystals and a buffer. I use it once a week and follow with the Cell Block PM. It has helped my skin. (21 replies)
... Hmm - I'm not sure. I know that the peels can be useful for acne scars, stretch marks, etc., but I'm mot sure if it would actually change a hair follicle. Maybe you could check with one of the websites that sell the peels. (21 replies)
... Blue eyed Belle - How do you think these peels and microdermasion routines would work on legs? I have a serious problem with obvious hair follicles on my legs and even when I wax them, I'm left with hairless, but "pitted" looking legs. Any advice on this? Thanks.... (21 replies)
... Is 10% glycolic acid a safe amount to start out with? My face is a little sensitive since I am older now. (21 replies)
