... I'm interested in using a gylcolic peel as well. I also use Aromaleigh's microderm cream. I can't for the life of me figure out your Kansas clue to order from the same company that you do. ... (21 replies)

... I'm sure 10% is quite safe - you probably won't see much results though. I'd go with at least a 15% or 30%. I have very sensitive skin & I started with 30%. You do a patch test first, then if you're okay, you start out by only leaving it on for 1 minute. Then you increase by 1 minute each week. I would just buy a sample size until you see which works best. (21 replies)
... Wow - first of all it sounds like your mom's dermatologist let her get a burn. When I do a peel, my face is slightly pink for about 30 minutes afterward. Then occasionally I might have some mild flaking, which is easily removed with the microdermabrasion - but I don't even have the flaking every time. It doesn't have to flake to be working! And you face should never look red... (21 replies)

My mother went to have some peel done at the dermatologist and her skin was all red and burnt-like for days. I don't want anything like that. And having flakes and peeling? It scares me waaaaay too much. What I think might be happening is that my uneven skintone comes from the... (21 replies)

... Actually, it would probably help. Just read up on the glycolic peels - you want to start out slowly. Better to take 6-9 months to get results with a 30% peel than to attempt a 70% peel (at first anyway) and get a severe burn. (21 replies)
... I use both. I have a Dermanew home microdermabrasion machine that I use with Aromaleigh's microdermabrasion cream once a week. ... (21 replies)

... No, I haven't tried the cream. I use a ton of other products, so the glycolic acid & Exfol serum are the only AHA products on my list. (21 replies)
... Thank you belle for all the advice you have given me. I will do it 6 weeks then off 2 weeks. Belle, have you ever tried the glycolic cream? (21 replies)
