I know MDs will suggest using petroleum jelly for various dry skin problems--so you can see that as a professional opinion. ... Other than being heavy and oily, I don't see any harm in it. All these topical things will help, but nothing beats a good diet/lots of water, and plenty of sun screen. I would put sun screen at the top of the list though. Photoaging from the sun is by far the biggest wrinkle producer of all. A nice tan might look good at first, but the skin pays for it later. ... I put Prep. H around my eyes and sometimes (in the Winter) I put Vaseline. I am 35 and I don't have a single wrinkle on my face. The key to wrinkle prevention is moisturiizing.
