... Hello joannalynn, Welcome to the board. You need to be careful taking celexa as well. I'm not sure why your doctor thought it would be much different than the other antidepressants you've already been on. The problem is that if you have bipolar disorder, taking any of the drugs in the antidepressant class can tip you over into mania if there is not a mood stabilizer... (2 replies)
