... Well no vitamins/supplements are evaluated by the FDA. They dont evaluate those types of things. Thats not really a problem for me. As for the price, its only about $12 per month. Seems pretty cheap to me. (6 replies)

... Yes, I've heard it's dangerous to avoid salt while on Lithium as well for the very reason posted above. I guess Lithium doesn't truly get metabolized, but instead goes out with your salt, so if you don't eat enough salt, it'll just sit around in your body. ... (12 replies)

... Regular lithium is not a drug, it is also a mineral (element). It is never found alone in nature, it always has to be bound to another element, for example carbon = lithium carbonate, the most common prescription.
