The problem with depo is that since it's give once every three months, it stays around in the body for that entire time, so that once a shot is given, nothing can really be done to stop the side effects -- only time can do that. I have not heard of this type of reaction before but you should report it to the manufacturer and to the FDA because they keep track of side effects that are reported after a drug has been approved for use.
