... I am really stressing out! I actually bought a pregnancy test tonight. Had been having horrible periods, basically constant for over a year. Had essure done in February, periods were less constant, more like every two weeks while taking the bc pill for the 3-months after. Haven't been able to get in for "confirmation test" yet. I just want 2 let u know that I got the essure done and I had to go on birth control pills 2 stop the bleedin it sucks I have been on them for 2 and a half years but also I had a problem with it 1 of the springs they put in your tubes ended up fallin out so now I have 1 tube open and 1 tube closed if I where u I would get the tubal done but that's because of what happened 2 me. ... ll is not, it takes 30 days to be sure of its effectiveness. You need the birth control because it could be dangerous to become pregnant and you must be sure the Essure procedure totally blocked the tubes. The depo is only effective for three months so you would not have to deal with bleeding issues after that . ... (2 replies)
