... all i know is that there are hardly any side effects from vasectomy and it is cheaper where with the tubal as i and others have experienced is expensive (really expensive to reverse because sometimes people's circumstances change later on or they have side effects) and there are more side efffects. i have hear the vasectomy is not that bad. ... That's scary. :eek: I had a childhood friend who's mother got her tubes tied after her oldest son was born. Then after that, she became pregnant with my friend (John). That was back in the '70s. You'd think the doctors would've gotten it right by now. :rolleyes: (9 replies)

... If you ever want to get pregnant in the future, it's not an option because it makes you compeltely sterile. Unlike a tubal, where you can have it reversed. It's probably pretty effective, moreso than a tubal, from what I've read. There are a couple of women who have posted here that said they still got pregnant after a tubal! Very interesting!
