... You might want to think what else might cause the hair loss. The progestin in Yaz (and Yasmin which has higher estrogen) has no androgenic effect. As a matter of fact the drosperinone (sp?) is equivalent of 25 mg. spironolactone which is a diuretic/bp pill that they give women to suppress high androgens levels (in higher doses).
