Just wanted to say that I completely agree with your view about salt ... and coffee (although I only drink 1 cup a day).
Salt has gotten a bad rep. I do think Morton's salt is not good to consume because it is processed with chemicals, but any real type salt works for me. Not only do I heavily salt food but I drink an extra 1/2 teaspoon in water with Vitamin C one... (5 replies)

I think I might be weird. I have low-ish BP and a history of anxiety. When I had a major breakdown in 2003, I was non-functional. At my worst when I couldn't sleep at all and was having tremors because my muscles were so tight, by BP was 130/80, the highest I've... (6 replies)
... It's very high because the median BP of the average height 12 year old is 106/62.
The question of safety at 138/80 is something the nephrologist must answer. Probably 138/80 isn't any more likelike to damage a boy's kidneys than it would an adult's kidneys.
