I was expecting a phone call & rushing. I am editing my post to include this omission. Thank you for catching it! flowergirl (6 replies)
... Flowergirl, Have I misunderstood this? My DIA has always been within the normal ranges (60-80) and I've only ever had a problem with the SYS. Does this mean a BP reading of, say, 150-65 is considered "normal?" Thanks, Neil (6 replies)
... My resting Blood Pressure usually runs about 140/65 or 135/69. I am 65 and never had trouble with high blood pressure until I got hashimoto thyroiditism (hypo). I take 180 mg Diovan. What concerns me is the low diastolic. Is this bad? (6 replies)

More seriously, if I were you, getting a consistent 116/65 at home, I would definitely cut my dosage starting with the meds that are most bothersome; if none are, then I'd cut the most expensive (usually the ARB or the Norvasc:D) (11 replies)

Don't let it get to you. I know that it is hard, but trust me. The less that I think about it, the happier I am. Take a log of your B/P readings a couple of times a week. I have done this for... ... Hi there, My BP averages around 135-145 / 65-70. From my understanding this places my systolic pressure about 15-20mm too high, yet my diastolic is 10-15 below "optimal".
