I Tried....
Dec 8, 2004
... Rocking the house.... always. Usually my resting pulse in the morning will range from 61-64. In the afternoon it is about the same & it is steady. When they did my 2nd EKG my heart rate was 69. I just feel that with my "improved" lifestyle & lack of drinking+, my heart rate & my B/P has dropped. It is normal to be on a beta-blocker & for it to lower your heart rate. 6... (8 replies)
... I have been checking my B/P about 11-15 times a month at different times for 21 months now. I have had about the same average of 116/66 for months now. What is the point in checking it all of the time? It's the same arguement that I have when my doc. wants to see me in 4 months for a B/P check. I can do that myself. After 21 months of monitoring I think that it is enough. It... (0 replies)
Diovan or Not

... Thanks I'm a guy, but just being in a doctors setting & standing for 10 minutes & then sitting for 30 seconds, they took my b/p. My doc. then talked to me for about 5-10 minutes about white-coat & why I don't have it after telling me 3 months ago that I do have it. I'm 34 & all my tests are perfect. My B/P was 122/76 30 minutes after it being 156/86 in his office. Today it was... (10 replies)
... Like I said before, I have the same thing as you. High B/P caused by anxiety. They could prescribe Toprol, Lotrel, Atenolol, Altace.... whatever, but once I go to the doc. my B/P goes up. Once I went on Xanax my B/P averaged 126/76 last year. One year later & I average 116/66. Don't get hooked on it. You will need more MGS in time. I know through experience. I am already... My #'s
Feb 27, 2004
... Haven't been back to the doc. since April or May of lasy year, because he doesn't believe in white-coat, but here are my #'s. 33 year old male 5 '11 151. Only vice is smoking. Taking Lotrel & Toprol. B/P will only get as high as 137/83 after walking for 1/2 a mile.... white-coat???? Don't want to go back to the same doc. He s**ks imo. 02/26/2004 12:44:00 PM 125 76 ...
