I'm a 26-year-old male, recently diagnosed with hypertension. Though, I'm not sure if my BP is high due to my overall nervousness or not. Anyway, in late February I wore a BP monitor for 24h, most of the readings were something like 150-160/75-85 mmHg. ... thank you atengrn and JJ. I'm googling quite a bit and see she might have isolated systolic hypertension. But her BP is considerably worse than what the text book definition of ISH is. Tonight was a "good night" and it was 140/55.
I'll keep googling, I need some concrete articles/studies/etc. to show her before she'll even consider seeing a different doctor or a... (4 replies)
