... hi, yeah taking that ibuprofen everyday may irritate the lining of the stomach, could have a little ulcer going on from that but that would mean the blood would be darker I think. back off on the meds and just take tylenol see if that helps. ... (6 replies)

Eating a bowl of oatmeal with ground flax seed added to it every day will also help. Giving yourself enough every day to sit on the toilet to move your bowels will help to keep you regular. ... Welcome to the boards. Have you seen a gastroenterologist? That is a must. Please do some research on Crohn's, an inflammatory bowel disorder that is autoimmune and affects the right lower quadrant where the swelling was seen on one of your exams. I believe you need to have some blood tests for inflammation and a small bowel follow-thru xray to check the last pasrt of small... (8 replies)
