... y surgery 3 weeks ago today...but have only been home 2 weeks. My friend who is an OR nurse said a good formula is 7 days for each day in the hospital as far as recuperation goes. My advice is to take it easy...don't do anything more than your body says it can do. You will tire easily...it's the anesthesia and the pain meds. ... (419 replies)
... Minnie's Hubby....Walking, walking & walking will help with getting that gas moving. The bowels are just waking up and the more you walk the more they wake up. That's what gets the gas moving. Minnie should walk every few hours and increase her distance each time setting a goal for herself. I really didn't have too many problems with gas...it came exactly 72 hours after... (419 replies)
